Short description

This course on sustainability management has two purposes: on the one hand it aims to raise awareness on contemporary issues, how they are tackled and who are the involved stakeholders. One the other hand this course aims to convey knowledge and techniques to enable attendees to involve themselves in the sustainability management process. A special attention will be given to the didactic dimensionof sustainability management.

Objectives

Participants are expected to:

-Understand the current situation and have knowledge about the evolution of sustainable development
- Be able to catch the evolution dynamics and recognize future trends
-Recognize the broad scope of sustainable development
-Make the bridge with social corporate responsibilities principles
-Be aware of the regulation and how to stay up-to-date
-Be comfortable with Advanced Environmental Education tools

Target Attendees / Participants

This module is targeted to current master of engineering students who are going to be involved in strategic decision-making and implementation.
